Caldwell Academy is pleased to offer an excellent Kindergarten through 12th Grade physical education program as well as a highly competitive and award-winning athletics program. In keeping with the traditions of classical education, we believe that in addition to strong academic and firm spiritual foundations, a sound body is essential for the character development of our students. Our physical education and athletics programs strive to instill the knowledge that each student is fearfully and wonderfully made and to reinforce the value of commitment to something bigger than ourselves.

Caldwell Academy is a proud member of the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA),  competing at the varsity level within the Triad Athletic Conference (TAC) and at the middle school level within the Triad Middle School Athletic Conference (TMAC).

In 2015, Caldwell was awarded the TAC Cup for the fifth consecutive year. The TAC Cup Competition measures overall program excellence in the Triad Athletic Conference. Schools receive points based on conference finish in each sport sponsored by the TAC. Caldwell Academy won eight of the fifteen conference championships in the Triad Athletic Conference during the 2014-2015 school year.
