Varsity Golf Comes Up Short in Tight Match vs Greensboro Day
Thursday April 20- The Eagles hit the course for another dual match as they hosted Greensboro Day School on Thursday afternoon. In a unique situation where the match was played on the GCC Farm Course, which is considered to be the home course for both schools. Signs of the coming summer were present as the day was one of the first of the year to reach nearly 85 degrees with a hot sun shining brightly for the entire afternoon. Greensboro Day came away with the win by a 5 shot margin, 153-158. Leading the way for Caldwell's scoring were Freddy Ortmann and Zach Kupiec, each of whom shot 38 and Daniel Norris and Grayson Smith both carded 41's to round out the scoring for CA.
