Eagles Suffer First Dual Match Defeat of the Season
Posted by Coach O'Brien
The Eagles suffered their first dual match defeat of the season as they traveled to Tanglewood GC to take on the Forsyth Home Educators. The afternoon was warm and comfortable, but storms were looming in the distance during the majority of the match. The final pairing was unable to play their last hole due to the nearby lightning and the course management having sounded the storm alert horn. Nevertheless, FHE claimed victory by a score of 153 to 161. Highlighting the Eagles efforts, were an under par round of 35 by Freddy Ortmann, a one over par round of 37 by Daniel Norris, and a three over 39 by Grayson Smith.
