Founded in 1995, Caldwell Academy is a Christian, classical school serving students in Preschool through 12th grade. We believe every child is created in the image of God and is growing in mind, heart, body, and soul during these formative years. Because of this, we are committed to an education that cultivates more than academic excellence. In partnership with parents, we seek to equip students to flourish spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically as they learn to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with their God.

Admissions Process

Inquire

We are honored that you are considering Caldwell Academy for your family. To begin the admissions process, please submit an inquiry. Once your inquiry has been received, you will receive login credentials for the Caldwell Admissions Portal, where you can schedule a campus tour, register for events, and complete your application.

Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis as space allows. While families may apply throughout the year, we encourage prospective families to begin the process during the fall or winter prior to their desired enrollment year to increase the likelihood of securing a space.

Families are informed of grade-level availability throughout the admissions process. If a class reaches capacity, applicants may remain in the wait pool and will be notified if a space becomes available.

Visit Campus

After submitting an inquiry, you may schedule a campus tour through your Admissions Portal by selecting a time that works best for your family. A campus tour is a personalized opportunity to experience classical Christian education in action, meet members of our community, and see firsthand what makes Caldwell Academy such a special place to learn and grow.

Apply

Your admissions file will be opened once we receive your completed application and application fee. After your application has been processed, typically within 24 to 48 hours, an admissions checklist will appear in your Caldwell Admissions Portal. From there, you may begin submitting the required documents and completing the remaining steps of the admissions process.

Complete Assessments & Interviews

Assessments

As part of the admissions process, applicants participate in an age-appropriate assessment. Students applying for Preschool through Grade 1 complete the Gesell Developmental Assessment, while students applying for Grades 2–11 complete the Woodcock Johnson Academic Assessment.

Once your application has been submitted, an admissions checklist will appear in your Caldwell Admissions Portal, where you may upload the required documents and track your progress through the admissions process. Once completed, our Admissions Team will review the checklist and contact you to schedule the interview.

Interviews

The Parent Partnership Interview is an important part of the admissions process and provides an opportunity for us to get to know your family and answer any questions you may have about Caldwell Academy. After your student's assessment has been completed, our Admissions Team will contact you to schedule the interview.

Prior to the interview, we ask all parents to read An Introduction to Classical Education by Christopher A. Perrin.

Students in grades 6-11 participate in a student interview on the day of the assessment.
