Coach Bozarth began working at Caldwell Academy in 2005. In addition to his duties as Athletic Director, Coach Bozarth also teaches some Rhetoric P.E. classes and coaches girls’ volleyball, basketball, and baseball.

Mrs. Burkhead began teaching at Caldwell Academy in 2000. After fifteen years in our 3rd Grade classrooms, she made the move to 6th Grade where she teaches composition, grammar, and math.
Mrs. Chaney holds a B.S. in Education from UNC Greensboro and is certified to teach Kindergarten through 9th Grade. She joined our 1st Grade team in the fall of 2015 with over 26 years of teaching experience.

Mrs. Church began teaching at Caldwell Academy in 1998 and was a Caldwell parent on the day that our doors opened in 1994. She won the 2010 Harris Teeter Teacher of Excellence award and has over 28 years of experience in the classroom.

In 2008 Mr. Cobb felt the Lord’s calling to leave his law practice and join his daughters at Caldwell Academy and we are so glad that he followed that call. Mr. Cobb (a.k.a. The Roamin’ Roman) drives his chariot to each of our 3rd through 6th Grade classrooms teaching Latin and eliciting more than a few chuckles along the way. The loudest cheering voice at any Caldwell game? That would be Mr. Cobb.

Mrs. Conner joined the Rhetoric faculty at Caldwell Academy in 2009 and does an excellent job of engaging our students in The Great Conversation.

Mrs. Davis joined the Caldwell Academy faculty in 2007 after teaching in Puerto Montt, Chile and the Guilford County School System. She taught Spanish II and IV before returning to her great love: art. She taught art in our Grammar School for several years before moving to a part time schedule in 2016. Mrs. Davis is passionate about teaching our students that they are God’s handiwork, created to do good works for His glory.

Mrs. Douglass joined our Fine Arts Department in the fall of 2016. She has maintained a private voice studio for over 29 years and taught at Mississippi college for two years. In addition to these roles, Mrs. Douglass has used her talents within her church body and currently serves as a worship leader and choir director.

Dr. Faub joined the faculty at Caldwell Academy in 2002 and lends his considerable talents to our school as he directs five to seven different bands and ensembles in any given year. He enjoys watching his students progress from beginner musicians to polished performers.

Mr. Feeney joined the faculty at Caldwell Academy in 2004 after teaching in public schools for 29 years. He won the PTA Teacher of the Year award at Grimsley High School in 2001. Mr. Feeney enjoys teaching students how to think and equip themselves with the tools of learning that they will use throughout their lifetime.

Mr. Greer joined the Caldwell community in 1999 as the Dialectic and Rhetoric Principal. In 2010 Mr. Greer and his family moved to Uganda where they served in a Christian ministry for two years before returning to Greensboro and Caldwell Academy in 2012. He enjoys partnering with great families as we strive to equip our Rhetoric students with the tools needed to be influential Christian thinkers in today’s world.

Miss Halsch began teaching Rhetoric Spanish at Caldwell Academy in the fall of 2016. She is currently working toward a Masters of Teaching with a concentration in Spanish and has experience teaching both Spanish and science at the high school level.
Mrs. Hedgecock entered the field of education as a teacher in 1989 upon graduating from UNC-G with a B.S. in Education. She spent the next eight years teaching in both public and private schools before coming to Caldwell in 2001 as a 5th Grade teacher. Mrs. Hedgecock has served in many different roles at Caldwell, but we are excited to have her back in our 5th Grade classroom this year.

Miss Hodgkins is an alumna of Caldwell Academy (Class of 2010) and joined our faculty in 2014. Miss Hodgkins now shares her passion for classical Christian education in our Rhetoric humanities department.
Dialectic and Rhetoric Drama
Mrs. Johnson joined our Fine Arts faculty in the fall of 2016 after spending 12 years as Director of Drama at Faith Christian School in Roanoke, Virginia. She has been a professional voice-over artist for public television and has a wealth of experience directing and acting in professional theaters, community theaters, colleges, and high schools. We are excited that Mrs. Johnson is bringing her considerable talents and love of theater to our classrooms.

Mrs. Johnson joined the Caldwell Academy faculty in 2012 with seven years of teaching experience. Prior to beginning her teaching career, Mrs. Johnson served in the United States Air Force Reserves for over twenty years as a pilot flying the C-141 cargo airplane and working with the Air Force scholarship programs. We are grateful for her service and excited to have her on our team.

Mrs. Langmeyer began teaching 1st Grade at Caldwell Academy in 1997. Her family was transferred to the Charlotte area in 2000 but they returned to Greensboro and Caldwell in 2008. Mrs. Langmeyer has taught both 2nd and 3rd Grade since returning to Caldwell.

Mrs. Liebmann joined the Caldwell Academy faculty in 1999. She enjoys teaching history and literature from a biblical worldview and strives to build into her students a life-long passion for learning.

Mr. Miles joined the faculty at Caldwell Academy in 2013 and teaches 3rd through 12th Grade physical education classes.

Mrs. Moore joined the Caldwell Academy faculty in 2006 as a 1st Grade teacher and began teaching 4th Grade in 2014. She won the Harris Teeter Teacher of Excellence award in 2012 but may be best known in the Grammar School for playing guitar in assembly and attempting to convince our students that “God’s favorite color is Carolina blue!”

Mr. O’Brien left his career as a golf professional in 2012 to join the faculty at Caldwell Academy. He teaches Kindergarten through 5th Grade computer and integrated technology classes as well as Kindergarten through 2nd Grade physical education. Mr. O’Brien is also shares his talents with Caldwell Academy as he coaches our varsity golf team.

Mrs. Perez has served the Caldwell community as a parent since 1996 and spent several years on our Board of Directors. She joined our staff in 2009 and has served as a receptionist, after-school care assistant, and TA. In 2015 she made the transition to full-time 2nd Grade teacher. Mrs. Perez views Caldwell Academy as an extension of her family and has enjoyed watching the school mature year after year as a God-centered school of excellence.

Mrs. Plasman joined the faculty at Caldwell Academy in 2013 as a Rhetoric Math teacher and Dialectic girls’ basketball coach. Mrs. Plasman now serves as our Dialectic Principal, teaches one Rhetoric math class, and wears her many hats with grace.

Mrs. Shepherd joined the Caldwell Academy faculty in 2010. Mrs. Shepherd is an alumna of a classical Christian school in Maryland and Grove City College. She enjoys engaging her students in The Great Conversation as they study ancient civilizations and read great works of literature.

Mr. Sizemore joined the Caldwell Academy faculty in 1996. He directed our athletic programs, taught physical education classes, and coached many different athletic teams before finding a place in the classroom. Mr. Sizemore has been teaching 6th Grade for several years now but we still like to call him “Coach.”

Mrs. Snead taught Kindergarten in a classical Christian school in Texas before she moved to the Greensboro area and joined the Caldwell community in 2011. She served as a Kindergarten T.A. for one year before moving into a full-time Kindergarten teaching position in 2012. Her sweet spirit brings a warm and calming atmosphere to her classroom every day.

Mr. Storch joined the Caldwell Academy faculty in 1998.
