Coach Bozarth began working at Caldwell Academy in 2005. In addition to his duties as Athletic Director, Coach Bozarth also teaches some Rhetoric P.E. classes and coaches girls’ volleyball, basketball, and baseball.

Mr. Cox has also completed additional graduate work in the areas of history, theology, education, management, and military studies, including coursework at Jacksonville University, the University of New Hampshire, Regent Theological Seminary (Vancouver), Hebrew University and Yad Vashem (Jerusalem), and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
He served for five years as an active duty officer in the United States Army, followed by nearly sixteen years in the Army National Guard and Army Reserves. He has extensive experience in education at the college and high school levels as well as many years of school administrative experience.
Mr. Cox came to Caldwell Academy in 2014, after serving as Head of School at Faith Christian Academy in Roanoke, Virginia, for thirteen years. On any given day, you may find him observing a classroom, running with the cross country team, or waving in the carpool line. He has a passion for reading, running, and classical Christian education. His wife Erin and children − Anna, Avery, and Charlie − are a much-loved part of our Caldwell community.

Mrs. Fairburn joined Caldwell Academy in 2007 after six years of volunteering as a parent. She enjoys assisting our students and parents in the Academic Resource Center as she schedules tutoring, working with teachers on student accommodations, and working with students one-on-one to teach the tools of learning.

Mr. Greer joined the Caldwell community in 1999 as the Dialectic and Rhetoric Principal. In 2010 Mr. Greer and his family moved to Uganda where they served in a Christian ministry for two years before returning to Greensboro and Caldwell Academy in 2012. He enjoys partnering with great families as we strive to equip our Rhetoric students with the tools needed to be influential Christian thinkers in today’s world.

Mrs. Harbor joined the Caldwell Academy faculty in 2002 as a 4th Grade teacher. After taking year off to spend time with her baby, Mrs. Harbor returned to Caldwell in 2006 as a 5th Grade teacher. After six years in 5th Grade Mrs. Harbor moved up teach 6th Grade and is now the Assistant Principal in our Grammar School.

Mrs. Hedman joined the Caldwell community in 2014 as our Enrollment Director. She enjoys welcoming new families to our campus and sharing her passion for classical Christian education.

Mrs. Plasman joined the faculty at Caldwell Academy in 2013 as a Rhetoric Math teacher and Dialectic girls’ basketball coach. Mrs. Plasman now serves as our Dialectic Principal, teaches one Rhetoric math class, and wears her many hats with grace.

Mrs. Speckman joined the Caldwell Academy faculty in 2005. She taught 3rd Grade for six years and served as Grammar Assistant Principal for three years. In 2015 she moved into the role of Grammar Principal and enjoys partnering with parents as their children grow both academically and spiritually on their educational journey.

Mrs. Talavera has served the Caldwell community since 2000 in a variety of parent and administrative roles. As our Director of Advancement she oversees our admissions department as well as our fundraising and marketing efforts.

Mrs. Toth joined the Caldwell community as a parent in 2003 and as a staff member in 2006. She serves as our Business Manager but also seems to have the answer to just about any Caldwell-related question.

Mrs. Twigg joined the Caldwell Academy faculty in 2006 and has taught a variety of music classes from Kindergarten through 12th Grade. As our Fine Arts Director, Mrs. Twigg’s passion for excellence shines through every choral, band, and drama performance at Caldwell Academy.
